Bogs: Kung napapagod ka na, umalis ka na sa buhay ko. Hindi kita kailangan. Hindi kita kailangan.
Mae: Bakit ba ang manhid manhid mo Bogs? Gusto mo akong umalis? Gusto mo akong mawala sa buhay mo? Alam mo kung pwede lang sana matagal ko nang ginawa yun eh! Pero hindi ko kaya! Hindi ko kaya! Alam mo araw araw sinasampal sampal ko 'tong sarili ko para magising ako sa katotohanan. Para matauhan ako, para matigil na 'tong kagaguhang 'to. Kahit sabihin ko sa sariling kong tama na, ISANG TEXT MO LANG, AYAN, NANDIYAN NA AKO. Hindi kasi kita matiis eh. Lahat sila sinasabi sakin "Mae ang tanga tanga mo, hanggang kelan ka magpapakatanga?". Pero ganon naman talaga diba? Lahat ng nagmamahal nagpapakatanga, kaya tanga na kung tanga pero mahal kita. MAHAL KITA GAGO KA! ANG MANHID MO MAHAL KITA! BAKIT IKAW PA?! BAKIT IKAW PA?!

I remember when I was “in love” with my bestfriend. (well, I thought it’s love!lmao) I did almost all the things Mae did for Bogs although the setting is quite different since they’re working already and I was a sophomore then. But it’s the typical set-up:being always there for him even up to the point of ignoring your girl bestfriends, doing this and and that for him bla bla bla. And after watching the movie I just laughed at myself for I never knew I was that pathetic. Well, I didn’t came to the point of bursting out my feelings for him(good thing!) and we didn’t end up like Mae and Bogs but I think WE’RE SO MUCH BETTER AS BESTFRIENDS. We would just tease each other every now and then about me crushing him before and I would just laugh it off.
